I'm a little late with this news story and from an opinion point of view I'm just going to throw this out there; I hope that Ailes fires these two "experts".  Rove and Morris both were, quite frankly, at the heart of the now obviously debunked prediction that Romney was going to win this last election in a landslide.  Even I started buying into their story.  I listen to a tremendous amount of talk-radio programs and they both were consistently selling their bullshit analysis across the AM spectrum.  In hindsight, the only sources that were correct in this last election were Intrade which was always consistent and the aggregate polling at RealClearPolitics dot com.  I think that FoxNews might regain some dignity by letting these two go permanently.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has instructed his staff to keep Rove off camera as he works to reposition the cable news station after the election, New York Magazine reported.
 
Rove exposed Fox to some ridicule on Election Night after he refused to accept that Mitt Romney had lost the state of Ohio, forcing host Megyn Kelly to interrogate the in-house team that made the call.
 
Later, he insisted that Obama only won by “suppressing the vote.”
 
New York Magazine reported that multiple sources say Ailes was angry over Rove’s Election Night meltdown. An Ailes spokesperson, however, told the magazine that there is no rift.
 
Dick Morris is another high-profile pundit getting benched by Fox. Morris was widely mocked for predicting a Romney “landslide” right before the election.
 
Later, he said he was trying to keep the Romney campaign’s hopes alive, although he also believed he was right at the time.

One of the few times you and I will disagree. I like Morris much more than I like faux news. They made predictions and they were wrong. It happens. We all thought along the lines of what they said maybe to a lesser degree. I can't tell you how many times faux has been wrong on the air especially Megan Kelly (duke lacross case) and Sheperd Smith (trayvon Martin case). And I totally get why Rove did what he did. A race was called when it was a tie with only half precincts reporting. Ok, I get their analysis but is there a crime in waiting? Let's just see. Faux wanted to be the first to call it and it irritated Rove that they were so anxious to for all the wrong reasons.

Btw, Rove didn't force Kelly to go to the war room. That was purely a move by Faux to try and embarrass Rove on national tv since he dared to question their decision.

Fox is everything that is wrong with the GOP today. They also ran off two truth tellers in Beck and Napolitano. I didnt agree with those two on everything but they told it like it was for the most part. And had the same policy with Breitbart. Screw them. And screw Murdoch/Ailes.

There probably needs to be a complete house-cleaning at Fox News.  I've been watching Glenn Beck's new channel on Dish Network and I think it's fairly reasoned if jaded in outlook.  But, speaking of jaded, I've become that way about most of the media since the election.

I certainly won't claim that fox isn't jaded, slanted or argue that they are sinless. I will, however, say that if it were not for Fox News, conservatism would have virtually zero influence or voice on television. It's subjective but I'll take their view over any other cable or network news.

Fox is "ok". Def an alternative to the libs on CNN and NBC but they are just as shitty in journalistic quality. They hate anyone who questions their agenda like Morris or rove but continue to let Juan Williams and mark Lamont hill spew their socialist shit on the air. Fox = loves the neocons.

I didn't say Beck wasn't bat shit crazy or was right all the time. Btw, TT is a term used in the political world not to be taken literally on its face value so much. More implies someone who expresses a fact or their opinion without a regard to motives or agenda. Some would say these types "dont have a filter" when speaking. Beck meets that criteria, like him or not. I would rather have those types on tv than robots like your chosen leader and the GOP puppet speaker of the house.

And I'm sure The Pharaoh and ABCBSNBCNNPRPMSNBC are as pure and trooffull as the wind driven snow!  Of course I'm a bigoted, ignorant, close-minded, mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging racist so what do I know.  At least Glenn is in the face of both Fox and the DNC Media Machine.  Someone needs to challenge the know-it-all "experts" and "journalists".

The more I watch Glenn Beck's new network the more I realize that true moderates and true conservatives have a voice now at least on paid TV anyway.

I have had it up to my eyeballs with the pundits on Fox AND the limousine liberals on the alphabet networks.  They're all full of fecal discharge.
