They're going off of measurements of the baby at this point and giving averages. Lately they're saying somewhere between January 8 and January 14th. Earlier in the pregnancy it was January 4th just going off of the calculation you are talking about. Bottom line, the kid is going to come out when she's good and ready.
Damn bammer doctors, ain't no good at figuring out shit. Since you say you're expecting a girl, she will be fashionably late.
