AUBURN - Wednesday evening, the Auburn Tigers held a two-hour practice in full pads at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields, continuing preparations for Saturday night's season opener versus Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Atlanta's Georgia Dome. Much of the practice was held indoors because of intermittent showers in the area.
"I was really pleased with practice tonight," said Auburn head coach Gene Chizik. "The energy level was up. They were focused and ready to come to work. It was a physical practice again.
"It was really good to see everybody so focused. It was a good last full-tilt practice beforewe touch things up tomorrow and tie everything up."
