Was there for all of a minute bro. Enough to know that the skyline of big D is much less fugly than the skyline of Houston.

Skyline itself, I will agreed with you on.  But at least in Houston, we can stand in the shade under a very large old oak tree and remark on how unimpressive the skyline is.  The dearth of trees and greenery in Dallas is what makes it so fucking ugly to me.  The city is one big slab of concrete with a few skanky Bradford pears growing in cracks in the sidewalks.

No, please tell us more of your exciting tales about Houston and Dallas and how Dallas sucks.  Perhaps if you have time we can revisit the birth of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company.

9/1   vs. 22 Clemson            WIN
9/8   at Mississippi State       WIN (This one will be close...real close)
9/15   vs. Louisiana-Monroe   WIN
9/22   vs. 2 LSU                   LOSS
10/6   vs. 5 Arkansas           WIN (I wish we played them earlier, because they won't be ranked that high by the time we play them. See Ole Miss from a few years ago.)
10/13   at Mississippi           WIN
10/20   at Vanderbilt            WIN
10/27   vs. Texas A&M           WIN
11/3   vs. New Mexico State   WIN
11/10   vs. 19 Georgia          LOSS
11/17   vs. Alabama A&M        WIN
11/24   at 1 Alabama              LOSS

(8-4/9-3)...I'm leaning towards 9-3, but the MSU game kinda worries me.

Special teams should be a big plus in our favor. Expecting Grimes to find the right combination of nasties by LSU. We have a battering ram, very good blocking on the perimeter with clutch receivers if Frazier has enough play action touch to keep our defense (really our linebackers) off the field because this is where we lack in overall talent and depth and where we should be tested. We have eight or nine in the secondary that can really put the screws on if they aren't constantly expected to make up for out of position, poor tackling LBs. So Frost and Frazier are my keys to success. Feast or famine-Dallas or Shreveport and that's a whole lot to expect considering one wasn't allowed to throw and the other was injured. Remember...the topic was predict the season so I'm sticking with 8-4.

Last season our special teams were great, our offense was pretty good, and our defense was terrible.  If we only improve our defense I think we can cut our losses in half (before any of you smart arses point out you can't evenly divide 5, I know that).  So that leaves us losing 2 or 3 games in the regular season.  If we can improve our offense as well, maybe we have a chance to compete for the west, and who knows from there.

LSU, UA, and Arky are not as settled as most preseason pundits predict.  UA is replacing most of their defense, LSU is replacing a lot of its pretty poor offense, and who knows what Arky will look like with a new/temp head coach.

7-5.

Kiehl Frazier struggles.  The defense is stronger than last year, but our lack of talent at linebacker hurts us against the run.  We fair well against teams that pass a good bit, but Knile Davis, the LSU stable, Christine Michael, and Eddie Lacey/TJ Yeldon have a field day.  Georgia beats us with their defense which terrorizes Frazier.

We'll win our bowl game.

This is unacceptable.  Did you learn nothing from Marcus Lattimore?

I don't get the loss to UGay.

Yes I realize that they beat the shit outta us last year. However, I still think they were highly overrated in a fucking seriously weak East and I still think they are.  Our guys quit in that game last year, I don't see that happening with Van Gorder this year.

I just don't see that as a definite loss.
