The theme is that Barkley wants guys to know that Weight Watchers isn't just for women.

And he does have a good closing line.

Oh...  I didn't realize that Auburn men were so enlightened.  This really explains the militantly gay-friendly perspectives by some in the SGA.

While I was there in the mid 90's, I never met anyone on campus like a couple of folks who post in SGA. Please don't think the vocal minority represents the campus. Its pretty Conservative overall as represented by the roughly 70/30 conservative vote the last 3 elections. It's def not a radical campus like many, and being founded as a Methodist Men's college probably never will be. Athens is where the "enlightened beta males" go to smoke hashish and white guys wear their hair in dreads listening to Bob Marley on the sidewalk. Michael Stipe is the beta male hero in Athens.
