Maybe if this kid wasn't all inked up and he would take that big plug out of ear he could get a descent job that would allow him to afford to put some gas in his car.

If gas prices get any higher the sheeple WILL eventually force Congress to take some action besides just taxing the Oil Companies.  That seems to be the feel good Democrat answer to everything including this issue but none of them are explaining how raising taxes on the Oil Companies will reduce the price at the pump.

As is so typical for the socialists, what they really want IS high prices at the pump to discourage demand rather than increase the supply of oil (and energy in general).  They talk a good line about alternative energy sources but what the hell are windmills and solar panels going to do to power my car?!  And, as you would have guessed the answer is not to work to lower the price of gas by, in part, increasing the supply but to lower use by "mandating" fuel efficiency.  That's possible if we all drive tiny cars with tiny engines but the construction equipment and trucks that I need for business also run on gas or diesel fuel; fuel efficiency mandates won't help me at all in that regard.  Furthermore, for personal use hybrid-electric vehicles are a good start but there's been no advances in battery designs and gas-electric motors for decades (unless you count the Dyson vacuum cleaner electric motor design which looks fairly innovative to me).

Instead of comprehensive immigration reform what this nation needs is an intellectually honest, comprehensive energy plan that recognizes that we need to use oil at least for the near term to run the economy (and we need to secure a safe, domestic sourse) while we develop long term energy sources for our vehicles and for electical power needs.

But do you think any of these agenda driven, political neanderthals in Washington DC are going to do anything like that?!  Of course not!  They're going to sit and spin with their thumbs up their asses worrying about the fucking polar bears!
