My brother has been working in Huntsville since the April storms.  He'd previously been out of work since the housing market crashed.  An Auburn bud of his, that had been in a similar situation, called him, and they got lots of rebuilt/repair work since, but it had slowed down.  Now he's up in the Centerpoint area with more work.  He's thankful for the work at least.  Says the pictures on TV don't do justice to the amount of damage up there.

Centerpoint huh?

Did the tornados there uproot any freshly buried corpses?

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

It doesn't.   The big one that ripped through Tanner, East Limestone, Harvest and Anderson Hills came about 3 miles from our house.  It was massive.  When you feel the vibrations, hear shit hitting your house and see debris (insulation, sheetrock, trash and 2X6's)  landing in your yard, it will freak you out.

I drive through HWY 72 everyday, HWY 31 and I-65 often and you can still see the damage.   No where near close to being cleaned up.

Not long after the storms I drove up Wall Triana towards Harvest to run an errand.  The brush and debris was piled up higher than my truck on both sides of the road.  It was like driving down a tunnel.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

Yeah, it was really weird for a while driving down the road and things not being there anymore.
