I agree with wes4au. I will not lose any faith until after signing day, and we miss out on everyone. Until then, I believe.
The funny thing to me is, if I were a WR being recruited last year, there is no way I look at the Malzahn offense from last year and think that is where I want to go. It seems we have had several good prospects come in at WR over the last couple of years and NONE of them produced anything last year.
Starting recievers.
Lutz...under utilized with 24 catches. That is less than 2 a game. WTF???
Stallworth...13 catches??? Really? For a starter?
Carr...8 catches. Eight. How the fuck does a starter only have 8 catches?
Blake...36 catches. Finally someone with decent stats, but that is still not THAT many.
Benton, Reed, Bray, Fulse and Uzomah...all on the 2 deep...had only 45 catches. And I would say 40 of those were WR screens.
Now look at this...
McCaleb...32 catches. Almost the leading WR on the team is a running back.
So, I ask again, why would a top WR be committed to Malzahn and then leave now? It's not like he was going to do shit with Malzahn here.
We need a verticle fucking passing game...I want 15 yard ins and post patterns and come backs and slants. Where were the hitch and go's this year???
What the fuck...fuck it...I am getting myself pissed thinking about this shit. I am going to drink...
