You realize your points are entirely different from mine?

A tragedy struck that athletic department the same day as a game?  (maybe the day before)

vs.

Tragedy striking in April?

Missing a field goal?  Is that a tragedy?
I realize that. I'm just saying, where do we stop with that? If it affects a team, it affects a team. Or are we just narrowing it down to only if something tragic happens on gameday?

I know I'm being silly, but it's silly in the first place, IMO. I just don't see where a voter should say "Well, we will forgive that loss because they had a tragedy." Really, I don't think it matters. OSU is beating the fuck out of OU.

I'm not saying they should forgive the loss.

It wouldn't matter except we're down to the wire and there's no real way to determine who deserves to be #2.

Worried yet bro?

Btw my only other team would be Virginia Tech if they win their conference. bammer would go after those two. Imo
Clemson is up by 21 on them. Not looking good for Va Tech or Bama.

If they're smart, they will hang a hundred on OU. At this point, the score will be whatever the fuck Gundy says it will be.

OSU made a statement tonight.  So much that if the voters feel they played their way into the BCS, I'll be fine with it.

Which means it will be easier for me to get Sugar Bowl tickets vs Boise State TCU.

Actually, the message being sent is by what has been a dismal defense.  They're flat shutting down a good offense.  Any voters paying attention will notice that.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem with those who jump OSU to #2.  BUT, if they vote Bama below #3 just to help offset anyone who doesn't, I'll be pissed.
