Drew, the Joke was about Oxford, due to the fact that the "university" of Mississippi is located in Oxford, MS. Their mascot is admiral ackbar.

Some other info about Ole Miss (university of mississippi's nickname):

They have majors such as reading and counting. Prestigious masters programs in division and fractions.

They love bears.

Always bring up the Houston Nutt statue. He is their idol.

I'll think of some better one's, but for the time being you could just rip him about the fact they got beat 6-1 by Manchester City their local rivals and a team which traditionally is seen as an inferior one.
