Keiwon Malone...why does that name sound familiar?

Oh yeah, that's who Saban kept "bumping into".

($1 to jeramye from the Bunker)
At the bottom of all uat's Letter of Intent should read as follows:

*Student Athlete should have a prepared list of schools they'd wish to transfer
to should they suffer any injury at any point in their career. List must consist of
lower division programs only.

Sentimore officially transferred to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Sentimore Set to Transfer

TUSCALOOSA | Suspended University of Alabama defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore will not return to the team this fall and will transfer to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, marking the end to the UA career of one of the team's more promising defensive linemen.

"Our camp starts next week and we're excited to get him in here," said MGCCC Defensive Coordinator Steve Davis. "He stayed there (UA) for summer school, so he's not here yet, but we think he can make a difference for us."

Sentimore was suspended indefinitely by UA coach Nick Saban earlier this summer, along with wide receiver Keiwone Malone, for an undisclosed violation of team rules. Malone subsequently transferred to play for his hometown college, the University of Memphis. Sentimore, of Destrehan, La., played sparingly for the Crimson Tide as a redshirt freshman last season. He appeared in 11 games but did not rotate regularly on the defensive front, making nine tackles with a forced fumble and four quarterback hurries on the season.

MGCCC head coach Steve Campbell was traveling Wednesday and could not be reached. Davis said even the limited experience Sentimore has against Southeastern Conference competition will go a long way toward his development at the two-year college level.

"Coach Kirby (Smart) and the staff at Alabama are a great bunch of coaches, and the one thing they told us about Darrington is how hard he plays," Davis said. "We think him coming in will allow us to move some other people around and make us a better defensive line."

Sentimore drew praise from Saban during the spring for his pass rush ability and on-field improvements, but sources close to the situation told Tidesports.com that Sentimore's indefinite suspension was not his first disciplinary issue at UA.

Efforts to reach Sentimore were not successful.

MGCCC was a two-year home for another former Crimson Tide defensive lineman, Terrence Cody, who went onto be an NFL Draft second-round choice of the Baltimore Ravens.

Sentimore is the eighth former UA player to transfer since the end of the season, along with Malone, B.J. Scott (South Alabama), Demetrius Goode (North Alabama), Brandon Moore (East Mississippi Community College), Petey Smith (Holmes Community College), Corey Grant (Auburn), and Robby Green (California University of Pennsylvania).

Since he's in the media guide that came out today, I'm going with yet another skreets fail on this one.
"He's not here yet, but could be here depending on some situations." Coach belittle when asked about Woodson, Jr.

Also WR Duron Carter hasn't qualified out of JUCO yet.  Woodson's status henges on Carter's.
