At least the Aggie women win championships.

But holy crap - the local news was broadcasting live from a bar in College Station last night, and y'all, every stereotypical "ag college" fan was there.  The first guy they talked to pre-game was fat, toothless and in a maroon A&M trucker hat.  When asked for his prediction, and I quote:  "They gonna beeet thu HAYULL outta No-ter Dame!"   And it just went downhill from there.  By the 10pm broadcast, some teased Texas sized bleach blonde haired divorcee type with a face lift so tight her eyes met in the back of her head was loving up all over the news guy during the live broadcast - the "Get me the fuck outta here" look on his face was hysterical. 

Aggies are their own worst enemies.  They are redneck inbreds like bammers but without the arrogance - nice enough folks, but generally as dumb as a bag of hammers.

Sounds like it was a better championship game than the Men's; hate that I missed that.

NO SHIT, brother.  Tsips = bammers in burnt orange.  Blech.

And No-trey- Dahm made a game out of it at least - they had the lead by 2 points at the half but the Aggiettes (with those shorts they wear, the Baggy-ettes???)  came out and kicked ass in the second half.

Def a better game than the men's final.

Completely agree. I've heard a lot of people compare it to Auburn, maybe because of the ag thing....actually called it Auburn's not as smart, not as good looking little brother.

The campus reminds me a good bit of Auburn in terms of the beautiful green pasture lands around the edges of campus, top notch vet school and the rural feel of being a city built around a college, not a college in the middle of a city.  Lots of tradition and such, classic style brick buildings...

But damn.  Those are some dumb hick motherfrickers.  Auburn's engineering school blows theirs out of the water.  Not enough bright engineering types in College Station to counteract the hickishness, so the dumbass Aggie stereotype persists. Plus their maroon stuff is too close to a shade of red to suit me.  Ugly color.

Plus, Carl being an LSU man adds the rival element. His dad was at LSU during those years when LSU and A&M were huge rivals.  His dad always said no family member of his would ever go to A&M with any of his money.  So far so good!  I am praying our kids want to go to one of the eleven SEC schools which are an option for them.
