I need a little help on this Middle East thing

Exactly how and why are all middle eastern countries going apeshit right now?

What led to these uprisings occurring at the same time?  Is this something we want to support, or is this just more fodder for Islamic extremism and terrorist organizations?

It's seems that every week a new country goes into riot mode.  How are they all acting together at the same time?  Surely Facebook doesn't organize massive protest at the 10,000+ level.

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'

Luke 21 various verses

9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

...

20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.

...

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

Also, there is a group called the Muslim Brotherhood that is pretty much creating the fire in the background. One of the main focuses is to rid the area of Israel. You want hear too much about this on CNN or even FOX.

Just copy-cats...  As the ditatorships fall, the others are merely attempting to do the same in their respective countries.  In many ways, this can be a good thing.  Of course, it can also be bad, especially when we don't help out the "right" side or wait for the UN to get off of their "diplomatic" a$$e$.

My dad sends me all kinds of stuff but Chuck Missler is one of my favorites. Yes this is a Christian Bible Study/Current events type website but you can find out some good stuff from this guy. Read up on this Muslim Brotherhood stuff.

The problem with identifying current events with biblical prophecies is that if it doesn't come to fruition, it's too easy to just say, "Well, this wasn't the real fulfillment.  Just wait til next time!"

True that. The main point that I was trying to give you was the background on this Muslim faction that seems to be working in the background.

Hence the just sayin' part.

Israel has been under the gun since Biblical times (really the main framing device and how we know what time era different Biblical events took place in).  Now it is just better filmed, documented, and observed.  The fact that Israel is still around at all says to some people that someone is looking out for them (God and the US Military).

I think there are as many causes as there are people in the Middle East and North Africa.  You have to remember that even though we live in the 21st Century these folk are still as tribal in their culture as they have been for thousands of years.  The strong man of the strongest tribe is the leader whether he is the King of the Saudis or the Dictator of Libya or the head sheik in Yemen.  If the other tribes find weakness they will exploit it, test it, and challenge it and that is what is happening now in my humble opinion.

Of course, in the last Bilderberg Group Meeting I told Prince Charles, Prince Phillip, Chancellor Merkel, and Tim Geithner that this operation would be big trouble but nobody listened to me...bunch of arrogant jacklegs...now look at the mess.
