"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Hartselle Police arrested a Jasper couple for stealing tires from Wal-Mart.

Police say Frank Felix McLain and Genia Marie McLain were caught on surveillance footage stealing four tires from outside the Tire and Lube Center at the store.

Hartselle Police posted the surveillance photos on their Facebook page and a tip from a follower helped narrow down the make and model of the vehicle to a Mazda Navaho.

Investigators questioned the McLains and say both confessed to stealing the tires at the Hartselle Wal-Mart. They were charged with second degree theft of property.

The McLains are also believed to be involved in the theft of tires from the Russellville Wal-Mart in October.

Quote
On April 10th, 2012 Karee Langford and Donald Jones were traveling in the area of 11th Ave and 1st Street SW when their vehicle was struck by multiple gunshots that were fired from a black Pontiac G6.

The victim's vehicle was struck several times. One of the bullets passed through the back windshield, through the steering wheel, and into the front console narrowly missing the driver.  The victims were able to escape without injury.

During the course of the investigation it was discovered Tiera Jones, Laportia Reed, Audreanna Reed, and Delantray Bates were in the Pontiac G6..

It was determined that Donald Jones was a victim in a pending criminal case that involved shooting into an occupied dwelling, and the defendant in that case was related to Laportia and Audreanna Reed.

The shooting is believed to be in retaliation for Donald's involvement in the previous case.

On April 13th, 2012 Detective Burleson of the Decatur Violent Crimes Unit obtained arrest warrants for all the occupants of the suspect vehicle.

Morgan County Circuit Judge Glenn Thompson set bonds for all of the suspects:

Tiera Shanae Jones' bond was set at $30,000.00,

Laportia Rene Reed's bond was set at $30,000.00,

Audreanna Michelle Reed's bond was set at $30,000.00,

Delantray Marquez Bates was charged as an adult in accordance with State law and will be held without bail.  (At the time of the offense,  Bates was out on bond for the charges of robbery and assault in which the victim was shot multiple times. This offense occurred less than a month prior to this shooting.)

Delantray turned himself into detectives on April 16th, 2012 and was placed under arrest.

Laportia Reed was located by Officer Derek Annerton on April 18th, 2012.  At the time of her arrest, she used a false name and date of birth in an attempt to avoid her arrest.

She was charged with the warrant and was also charged with obstruction of justice using a false identity.  Her bond was set at $32,500.

Tiera Shanae Jones turned herself in to Detectives on April 19th, 2012.  Her bond is set at $30,000.

All three were booked into the Morgan County Jail.

Decatur Police are still looking for Audreanna Reed.

Her whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is  urged to call the Decatur Police Department at (256)341-4660, or Detective Burleson at (256) 341-4633.

Quote
By Stephen McLamb

Guntersville Police hope a surveillance photo will lead them to a suspect in an overnight convenience store robbery.

There are some pretty good pictures of the man, and police suspect he may have been acting alone and that even the people in his car may have been unaware of his actions going into the store.

The man was wearing a University of Alabama hat and shirt, and the crime took place early Sunday morning just after midnight.

Police said he walked into the Texaco station at the intersection of Highway 79 South and 431 South, got a drink, then demanded money from the clerk.

Investigators said the man then left the store and got into the backseat of a white SUV before leaving the store.

The pictures are pretty detailed, and they hope someone can identify the man.

Investigator Doug Ware said anyone with information about this crime, including the people in the SUV, are asked to contact Guntersville Police.

Ware says others in the SUV may not be charged if they come forward.
