The one thing that pissed me off about last episode was when Rick was explaining to his wife what happened to Shane...She got pissed off. What the fuck? She pushed him to do it, did she not? What the fuck is her problem? Is she mad because Carl shot him? Is she mad because he withheld the secret about everyone being infected? If she is mad because he killed Shane, then she should be shot for being dumb. Maybe someone who read the comics can explain it to me so that I'm not completely confused. (without spoilers)
I was watching Lori's face when Rick was telling her - she did not get freaked looking until he said, so nonchalantly, "Carl finished him off." That's when her hands went to her face. She has been opposed to Carl having a gun from the beginning, and now here's Rick, turning him into a zombie killer, and his first kill is one of their closest companions. I think the fact that Rick was so blase about it also hit her like a ton of bricks, like she is finally realizing that Rick is turning into a hard man, maybe even more of a bad ass than she was ready to deal with.
I don't think she is mad too much about Shane.
And yeah, if it rolls along like the comic, next season will challenge the Ricktatorship like never before. The Governor is one messed up dude, and an absolute fucking psychopath. Pure evil.
And Michonne is another awesome bad ass.
