I can tell you that I'm getting tired of the 10 minute commercial breaks.

I'm also tired of the pimping of that lame ass comic book store show.  I understand that Smith has on rare occasion shit out something worthy of film (but mostly just shit).  Yes, I said it.  Mostly complete and utter shit:

Jersey Girl = turds in a bowl
Zac and Miri = multiple turds in multiple bowls (absolute garbage and the waste of a good actress)
Jay and Silent Bob = profane turds in a turd bowl
Cop Out = One of the turdiest movies ever seen. Complete and utter turd
Clerks II = Turded up one of his few good films
Red State = Such a turd I don't think it's ever been seen

So he likes comic books and has a store.  GREAT premise for a new show.   :taunt:

Expecting me to sit through that limp dick drizzle fest to see a preview of next week's Dead (which typically involves characters sitting around talking) is too much.

I use it but damn. I usually tune in when it first comes on but quickly hit the DVR. After eating, showering and putting chil'ren to bed I still have to suffer through 15 to 20 minutes worth of commercials. Before you know it I'll be out buying Mass Effect 3.

He was weak.

The show was weak.

They promised us in the mid-season break that they'd be leaving the farm almost immediately and that the action was going to ramp right the hell on up.

They lied.

Two, maybe three episodes left and we're still on the farm, we're still wringing out emotional issues.  We're still standing around having philosophical debates.

That shitty kid in the stupid hat is still breathing.  The whore wife still draws air.  Rick has degraded back into a puss of the first order.

Shane and Darryl should have taken over long ago.

Yes and yes on the highlights above especially and etc.

By the way, didn't watch it again last night; second week in a row.  Don't care.  Don't miss it.

I had never watched this show until last night. I just happened to be flipping through the Directv guide and saw it in progress. Thought I would flip it over for a moment to see what it was all about. Watched it about 3 mins. All I saw were 2 bitches arguing in the kitchen of a house about who washes dishes and provides and who watches out, and also why one is made to watch out while the other gets to dish out orders for everyone but herself....and.....Forget it. I'm good, thanks. I can watch a catty soap opera on network tv all day long if I wanted to watch that.

Haha, Shane went down for the count. I be hearing Lori is next. Just wondering though, how did Shane end up a zombie....or the "prisoner" boy for that matter?

In the comic, you don't have to die via a zombie bite to come back as a zombie.  Just dying of natural causes will bring you back.  Sounds like they are doing the same thing in the tv show.

How do they explain it?

My theory: the virus is airborne and all have inhaled it.  It incubates in the body and upon lack of oxygen/death it activates.

I'm assuming that this is what the CDC doctor whispered.

I was wondering when this would come back into play. If this is in fact the case, they are screwed.

I never read up on the comic and I am unsure how close the TV series follows the comic, but, one of my wifes friends apparently did read the comic and said that Lori dies too......soon. How ironic would it be if Carl has to put both of them down.
