OK even if you do not like zombie movies you may like this.  I missed it when the first six episodes came on.  I DVRd them and finally got around to watching them.  Most of it is shot in and around Atlanta.  Do yourself a favor and watch the first couple episodes.

Glad that you finally got around to watching this show, Sani.  I told you that it was good.

I'm really, really not feeling this season at fucking all.

I'm on the borderline of abandoning it entirely.  I've definitely got better things to do than waste time with this drizzly soap opera shit.   New writers suck zombie ass.  Gooey zombie ass, in fact.  I'm giving it one more episode to draw me back and then I'm done with this silly shit.

Fuck the pathos.  Fuck the bitch wife and her "issues". Fuck the meandering emotional plot lines.  Fuck the ignorant kids.  Fuck finding zombies just sitting around in a church (that was stupid).  Fuck herds of zombies wandering around in circles in the high school parking lot.  It's taking too fucking long to get to anything of substance.  It sucks.  If I'd watched these two episodes first -- instead of the riveting pilot that began with such promise when he splattered a little girls' brains -- I would never have watched it at all.

Extremely disappointed.  Ex.Treme.Ly.

And where the FUCK does Ranger Rick keep coming up with brand new cop shirts?  Is he carrying a closet full of them around?  And why the FUCK is he still wearing his badge?  Or his silly ass hat?  Or his watch?  Got somewhere to be?  Need to know the exact time.

Whoever is writing this slow-moving stream of shit needs to get their head out of their ass and turn Darryl loose.  Mayhem, motherfuckers.  Do you speak it?  If not, your dwindling audience is fucking DONE.

Agree on the story progression.  Needs to move along.

The uniform helps reinforce to himself that humanity and society is still intact.

There is a show that comes on afterward called "Talking Dead" that claims shit will start picking up next week.  We'll see.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I suggest our survivors syphon plenty of gas to ignite the zombies trying to get through the fence like in Dawn of the Dead. Obviously these Georgians weren't movie goers.

What does a zombie in a military helmet represent?

The group has to stay at the vet's home anyway with two injured and one missing so why is there any rush to leave?

Season 2 does start out fairly slow...I just like giving these pansies shit.

But it's still not that slow, in my opinion...plus it picked up some tonight.  Hopefully they'll keep increasing the tension and action from here on out.

Still creeping slowly along.

Losing patience with this series.

Don't give a fuck about any of the wasted story sidelines.  "yeaayhh, ahhll hayuve sey-ux witch yoo"

Shane's decline into monosyllabic grunting is idiotic.

Who couldn't see the pregnancy coming from a million miles away.  Obvious writing, been done a million times before. Who cares.  And I hate that bitch anyway.  She needs to be bitten.

What's the black dude using to shave his head every day?  Couldn't Rick use some of that on his face?

I'm tired of the hats and closet full of cop gear Rick must carry with him at all times.  He's never out of a fresh sheriff's shirt.

Why did they have to set up tents?  Couldn't they have just bunked in the barn?  That was ridiculous.

This show is grating on my last nerve.  I'll give it another episode to see if it can get back to the general goodness that permeated the first few shows of season one, but if it keeps meandering along with the folksy backwoods doctor and his folk, I'm going to walk away.

Dexter on the other hand showed last night why it remains a quality show five years in.  Pretty strong stuff.

Homeland was also good although I'm a little unnerved by Carrie spreading it for Brody just to catch him at something.

Boss with Frasier from Frasier has potential.  I like Kathleen Robertson.  Curious to see where it goes (and how it could be a multiple season effort).

Played catch-up on season 2 last night and agree that the story is dragging.  Stupid fucking kids.

The gross-out factor has been ratcheted up, which I generally enjoy, but it's looking like a cover for poor story-telling right now.

I expected to find some kind of eerie secret out last night about the vet and his group.  Nope...just Christians.
This is really starting to drag along too much, but I suppose 13 episodes are hard to fill.

American Horror Story doesn't think so.  If anything it's overstuffed.

Five seasons of The Sopranos doesn't think so either.  Neither does five seasons of Dexter.  Or four seasons of Oz.

This series is mired in the muck.  Deeply.

Tonight's episode was a little better.  Still too much fucking talking in the first half, but better.

I really wish Darryl would shoot Andrea, Rick, Shane, Lori and the old man.  And shoot little Carl, too.  Then we could move on with it.

I hate every scene Rick is in lately.  Hate every scene Shane and Lori are in.  Hate the botoxed Andrea who can't act a fucking lick.

Kill 'em all.

But no, we're going to kill the Asian guy, the hot farmer chick and probably Darryl and Dale.

This show was better, but it's still way the fuck off the beam.  It needs to tighten up.
