I took it to mean they were through pursuing any more RB's. But then, I'm an Auburn homer and would never admit that my staff would ever do anything that was not above board. Just sayin'...
However, the way Malzahn has used his backs in this offense, Calloway and Mason would fit right in with that M.O. Tate and O'Mac and now Dyer and O'Mac are both power/speed combinations. I'm just guessing but I would imagine Mason is a little more durable than Onterrio. I can see him getting the ball quite a few more times in open space when/if he takes over in that slot.
