Good Julio Question

Good Julio Question
« on: November 20, 2010, 09:55:11 PM »
Posted by someone else elsewhere, but funny...

This has always bothered me, don't know if anyone else here has ever pondered this. I am not a Spanish major here so don't blast me if this is stupid, but to my knowledge there is no "jay" sound for the letter "j" in the Spanish language. So if Julio's name is pronounced "Hoolio", shouldn't his last name be "Hones" or "Hon-ez"? I mean come on, it's either an American name and it is " Jul-e-o Jones" or it is a Spanish name and it is "Hoolio Hones". Thoughts?

He's a walking contradiction.

Who-leo Jones?

"Badass" football player who digs Wendy's hairstyle?

And has anyone ever noticed how every time Julio is tackled or run out of bounds, he glares at the defender like he did something horribly wrong?  I think that's what I hate about him the most.
