I will just about substitute Kroger brand for anything.

I do like me some Golden Eagle.

And Wench, Pilsbury frozen biscuits are as close as you can get to the real thing. But we both know that biscuit making is a lost art. Even my mom can't make it any more. She gets the frozen ones too.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I never buy off brand cereals.  They may be just as good but there's something wrong with passing up Kelloggs Fruit Loops for Best Buy Fruity Wheely Poofs.

this is your problem...confusing consumer electronics with consuming breakfast cereals.

speaking of cereals...

we have grits and the dreaded cream of wheat.

I will make a deep dark Southern confession here... I hate cooked grits.

I spent a lot of time with my grandparents growing up, and my grandmother, while her biscuits kicked ass, could not make grits to save her life. Overcooked, pasty and congealed.  It was like eating wall paper paste.  And to this day, I cannot eat cooked grits - horrid flashbacks.  Quaker Instant is my brand.  I eat them mixed in with my scrambled eggs.

Sister Schuberts does make decent biscuits but her yeast rolls are the best EVAH.

Pillsbury Frozen Biscuits are better than Sister Schuberts Frozen Biscuits.

Shove a roll up your ass.  While still frozen.

I have bitched about this in the past, but the thing I miss most is Golden Flake Thin & Crispy.  I know I can get them online, but I miss being able to roll into a Stop and Stab and grab a fresh bag and a can coke on a whim.

Lays are a damn poor substitute.  And because Frito Lay is HQ in Dallas (Plano, technically) Golden Flake will never officially grace our local venues.

There is no way that anything headquartered North of the Mason Dixon line much less in MN is anywhere close to something in Troy, Al.

I got's my leaning where it really matters....

Favorite Snack Food.  If you have a CVS near you, go there now and pick up a tub of their Gold Emblem Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets.  These things are UH-DICK-TING!!!

Snyders makes a lot of good pretzel products including peanut buttah pretzels, but CVS puts out pure gold.

Favorite ice cream snack:  The original Drumstick (you know the one with chocolate in the tip of the cone)

Close second would be the snickers ice cream bar
