Its funny you say that because I thought the same thing when I saw this rolling across ESPN. I thought the kid was already gone for some reason. I know he played last year but I have no idea if he was expected to be the starter. As abrupt of an exit as this I would say no he wasn't going to be the starter.

Well, he 'kind of' was. He never officially left the program or UT. Now he has. I think Dooley is glad to rid of his ass.

If he transfers to USC, watch out...he'll talk and Coach Kiffin will be pushing him to.  We'll finally find out how his recruiting actually went down.
